Only 2 short weeks have passed since the last newsletter ... but an eternity in my eyes! It is therefore with pleasure that I come back to you with a menu as creative as it is delicious : foie gras, 3-color quinoa, garlic mousseline, parsley risotto, pomegranate and a revisited Belle-Hélène… tempting and innovative isn't it?
To follow, I propose Food-Beer pairings with the discovery of our Brewer Anne-Catherine in the Zoom on, the upcoming event that takes our breath away: Easter Aerobatics in the News et the pictures of 2000 runners of the SaumurbanTrail which crossed the Winter Garden in the What's New in London…

On ... The Brasserie des Fontaines
The Lady of Montsoreau (a white one) the Diabolik (amber) and the Blonde Pit (blonde obviously) are part of the London landscape… And these are… our beers! Located in the heart of the Coteaux du Layon vineyard, Anne-Catherine's micro brewery offers you a complete choice of craft beers with finely spicy flavors. She created the brewery in April 2007 in Verchers-sur-Layon and produced 200 liters by 200 liters… Now, she produces around 30 liters per year and works… always alone! The ingredients come from organic farming, the barley comes from the north of France and is malted in Belgium, the hops are from the hop cooperative. Quality ? 2 more medals for Diabolik beer: Silver medal at the French brewery museum and gold medal at the Royan craft beer fair. It's always a pleasure!
As an aperitif, that seems logical, but they also go perfectly with a meal and our jars in particular… Here is Food-Beer pairings Anne-Catherine and Claudie our master sommelier for this week's menu: - the Diabolik will go perfectly with your starter Celery Velouté with Foie gras and Lamb with rosemary and garlic - the Lady of Montsoreau was cut for Salmon - and the Blonde pit will be majestic with your flat-leaf parsley risotto or your leek & sweet potato parmentier as well as your Island Salad for dessert And
Anne-Catherine will welcome you with pleasure by appointment in her craft brewery, to help you discover her profession, taste her beers and offer you a whole range of products to offer yourself or to loved ones.

We told you ... it was a GREAT moment... 2000 runners and the 8 mountain biker forerunners crossed London during the last SaumurbanTrail. Traffic was well managed to avoid pilots between breakfasts or brunch and the runners… and the atmosphere was at its peak. The sun was invited onto our south-facing terrace and everyone left with stars in their eyes and energy full of body to finish their race.
Definitely, London is re-registering for the 2019 edition!
