Green Key

The Hôtel Le Londres is proud to be labeled Green Key, the first international environmental certification dedicated to tourist accommodation. This label demonstrates our concrete commitment to more responsible tourism: rational management of energy and water, waste reduction, eco-responsible cleaning products, short supply chains, raising awareness among teams and customers... Through this approach, we combine comfort, elegance and respect for the environment, so that each stay is both pleasant and sustainable.

We invite you to discover our Environmental Charter and learn more about the Green Key label by visiting their website.

Accessibility

Desiring to welcome as many people as possible, Charlotte and François have long thought about the possibility of making the hotel accessible to everyone.

Since 2017, it's been done!

10 spaces in our private car park (including 1 dedicated to people with reduced mobility) allow direct access to the hotel by the lift which connects the car park to the hotel terrace and thus to the reception.

4 beautiful bedrooms have been fitted out on this level, all with private terraces, 2 of which are accessible to disabled people.

Elevator

Since August 1, 2023, Le Londres has been equipped with an elevator.

This serves the first 2 floors. Our 2 apartments located on the 3rd and last floor therefore require carrying luggage to the last level. Do not hesitate to contact us if you need assistance.

If you are in a wheelchair, please let us know before your arrival so that we can direct you to the rooms on the ground floor.

The Originals Cooperative

The Hotel Le Londres is a member of The Originals – Human Hotels & Resorts, a unique cooperative that brings together more than 300 independent hoteliers in France (and up to 600 worldwide) around a common vision: to offer a genuine hospitality, human and local while maintaining the independence of each owner.

Saumur Tourism
 Loire by bike

In the heart of the Loire Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Saumur is an ideal stop on the Loire à Vélo (Loire by Bike), the legendary 900-km cycle touring route. Easily accessible, the town offers numerous loops between vineyards, the banks of the Loire, and troglodyte villages—a soothing ride to the rhythm of the water and the wind.

Among the highlights, the crossing to Gennes, or even to Angers (around 60 km), reveals breathtaking panoramas, wine-growing hillsides, and cultural curiosities—all without excessive effort, except for the climb to admire the Château de Saumur. For fans of slow tourism or electric bikes, the adapted facilities facilitate the experience. With bicycle services (rentals, equipped stations, cycle-friendly accommodation), Saumur offers visitors a stay combining discovery, comfort, and respect for the rhythm—a gentle and authentic interlude in Anjou.

Consume Locally

At the Hotel Le Londres, local consumption is not a trend, it is a convictionEvery morning, breakfast honors Anjou producers: artisanal jams, local honeys, organic fruit juices, regional cheeses... Even the soaps in the rooms are made locally!

This commitment not only supports the economy of the territory, but also offers our guests a more real, more flavorful, more human experience.

By choosing to consume locally, Le Londres strengthens its ties with Saumur and its surrounding area, and invites its visitors to do the same, for a stay rooted in authenticity.
