Un beautiful summer menu composed of best of, classics and creations, we still love it so much! And lunch at the SQUARE is currently deserved because I had bet on the holidays of my dear customers but it was without counting on the tourists who find us on TripAdvisor... yes, a note of 5 / 5 with rave reviews it can only entice them to come and meet us. It is therefore the stocks that suffer and during the Chef's vacation period, no restocking possible. I would therefore like to apologize in advance if any dishes are missing.

Zoom on… the exceptional event ...
A few weeks ago, I announced an exceptional event ... well here we are: in 15 days, the little Chovet family will embark on a crossing of… the English Channel in order to experience English life more closely. It is no longer enough for us to call ourselves The London, we want to experience it from the inside!
This crazy idea came to us a year ago from friends who have just finished their 1 year English adventure. "It's easy" Karine told me. “Once the house is found, the local school is compulsory and it is full employment in the UK! ". It did not take more for our 1 little Chovets to start dreaming and then to realize this somewhat crazy desire.
Oxygenation of spirits, family adventure, deepening of the English language and discovery of another culture are the main objectives.
Our drop-off point is called Winchester, a very pretty town of 40 inhabitants in the south of England with its famous cathedral. A beautiful, very English house awaits us there and the schools are called Henry Beaufort School for Sybille and Margaux & Harestock Primary School for Como. Can't wait to see our kids in uniform! Surely you are all wondering if they are as ready as we are? Sybille is delighted and very keen to get out of Saumur (000 years old, normal, but that shows a great open-mindedness anyway!). Margaux is considering with much more difficulty leaving her friends and studying in English (15 years old, normal too, especially with only 12 years of English in college, but we are confident she will get there!). And Côme asked us two months ago "But by the way, do the British people speak French?" »… Since then he has been passionate about 2 Shakespeare language learning apps with unlimited access! We don't worry about him, learning should be quick. As for us, once our 2 darlings are well installed and launched, we will work ... something simple, that we can master but which should not resemble the hotel industry to enjoy our weekends and holidays ... the adventure promises to be rewarding for all and we can't wait!

Music, circus, street show, open-air cinema, night markets and even night of horror (even if it is not the evening I will go personally !!)… There is only in Saumur that such a festival of emotions can last more than two months!
