Zoom on ... the fool leaves him there ... or the soliless?
This was my first discovery at the suggestion of this new menu with the Chef… we don't write it the same way at all… and after checking, the 2 are in the dictionary!
However, it is the earliest spelling that seems to hold the attention of linguists and historians.
The latest edition of Le Grand Robert states: “ Very fine pieces of meat, on each side of a poultry carcass, above the rump (not very visible for "the fool to leave it there" out of ignorance) ».
Did you know? His real name which is " chicken oysters »Illustrates its finesse. It is very tender and its slightly marked taste is very close to that of the supreme. It is therefore normal to appreciate these 2 cute pieces at their fair and high value! The particular shape of this organ, once plucked, makes it also named " Ace of Spades ", Even in the raw state or" bishop's cap »… Definitely, what names!
Come and taste it and (re) discover it at SQUARE for 15 days, accompanied by a gratin or squash purée and a sun sauce made with tomatoes, garlic, onion and lemon… a very successful combination.

How not to mention La Folle Journée en Actu of this fortnight?
Classical music festival, it was created by René Martin 25 years ago in order to broaden access to classical music to as varied an audience as possible.
It is therefore quite natural that he left Nantes to count many shows throughout the region. They are therefore not less than 21 shows that will be offered between January 25 and 27 in Saumur. Book quickly, places are expensive (hear rare because their price is deliberately low: free, 2, 4, 8 or 10 € maximum in order to legitimize this democratization).
Information and reservations by clicking HERE on the website of the Tourist Office et LA on the official website of La Folle Journée.

This year, La Folle Journée is dedicated to “ Travel journals »And to all those composers who created timeless works during a stay abroad. Whether it is Debussy in Russia, Saint-Saëns in Algeria or Dvorák in the United States, many composers have crossed borders to write pieces of anthology. An exotic atmosphere enriched by different cultural traditions inevitably provokes encounters and becomes an inexhaustible source of inspiration for these musicians in search of openness to the world. An exciting new path that pays tribute to the international exchanges of composers from the Renaissance to the XNUMXth century.

At the dawn of 2019, I am simply coming to share with you some Saumur winter pictures, gleaned especially during my morning jogs on Wednesday with my favorite Raides Bulles (and yes, that was already 13 months ago!)
